Recommendations to Parents

  • Parents are earnestly requested to co-operate with the school in enforcing regularity and discipline among the students. They should see that their children prepare their lessons and make interesting activities of the school. Encourage them in their studies and take interest. Visit the school whenever you are required.

  • Parents are particularly expected to come and check the answer papers and sign the progress report cards. Private tuitions are not encouraged. Private tutor may not be engaged from the teaching staff of the school except after consultation with the Principal and a written permission should be obtained from him. Those who break this rule will be asked to discontinue their studies. Also the teacher will be disciplined.

  • Parents and guardians are requested to notify the school of any change in their address or telephone numbers and see that only your valid phone numbers are written in the diaries. When communicating with the school, parents are requested to mention in the letter, the name, standard and the division of the child. All complaints must be addressed directly to the Principal and not to the class teacher, or any other staff of the school.

  • Parents / Guardians or other persons are not allowed to see their children or interview their teachers during school hours. Certain day and time is kept every month for parents to meet the teacher. Please do so regularly. In case of emergencies meet the Principal. Parents are strictly forbidden to entertain teachers at their residence and give individual or collective presents or gifts. Any complaint against class work or lessons or the teachers must be in writing and given directly to the Principal. These matters will be kept in confidence; and will look into it and necessary action taken. In case-of any dispute between anyone connected with the school, it will be settled in the school office. All holidays other than the declared ones will be notified by the school at the earliest. The school is not responsible for the action/behaviour of those who are engaged by the parents in bringing the children to the school nor their words should be taken for granted. The students must undergo a Medical Check-up at the of beginning the school year. Parents are requested to send their children to school on time and neatly dressed in full uniform regularly. See that the children brush their teeth every day, especially Pre-primary children, should attend to their toilet before coming to school. Torn shoes, ties and belts will not be allowed. Uniforms should be washed daily and ironed. Those coming in dirty /torn uniforms will be sent back.

  • Children's home - work should be supervised at home, and it is the duty of the parents to see that the work is done regularly and neatly. In case of difficulties meet the Principal in the school or the Headmaster. Students are not permitted to take leave during school days and no leave will be sanctioned by the school. In case of emergencies the parents are to submit leave letters or Medical Certificate to the office.

  • The parents are requested to encourage students to spend some time every day in reading newspaper and listening to the news. Also it is necessary to encourage children to read books other than text-books in order to improve vocabulary and G. K. and to Watch Educational programs on the T. V. Parents must make it known to their children their interest in the progress of their child, by spending some time daily with the children in study. Encouragement coming from parents will boost the performance of the child in the school. Calculators are not allowed. Students are not allowed to phone home for Notebooks, project work etc., that has been forgotten at home.

  • Students or staff members will not be called to the phone, in case of emergency the message will be given. At times students may have to stay back for practical - after classes. Mobiles are not allowed by the student. Rickshaws COMING LATE OR BEING ABSENT IS NOT THE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE SCHOOL.
