Android App
Seventh Day Adventist Higher Secondary School, Kolhapur is the first school to launch its own Android App. Each and Every Parent will receive a unique User Name and Password. App is enriched with features like Daily Homework, Attendance, Notices, Awards and Achievements, Exam Time Table, Exam Syllabus, Birthday Reminder, Thought for day. This App is Very User friendly.
E Library
We have converted the school library into modern state-of-art, fully furnished informative resource center to all our students. It is better in terms of efficient and fast acquisition of knowledge in this high technological society. Students can use E-Library system through web browser. The protocol allows you to extract books on a local host or through internet where by each student will be given a password. More over same password can be used at home where whole family can make use of E-library facilities.
Transportation
School provides transportation on request only. Those who come by Rickshaws, private vehicles or public Transport must mention it in the diary. Those who come by rickshaw must write the name of the rickshaw driver and rickshaw number clearly in the diary. Also the diary should have the full correct address of the parent.

High & Interactive Boards
With the new interactive whiteboard, every student can experience the benefits of hands-on, interactive learning. This easy-to-use, touch-sensitive interactive whiteboard combines quality and affordability. It enables teachers and students to interact with lesson content in a natural way using either their finger or a pen. ICSE based Syllabus covered,lots of reference videos available with animations at a single click.
Computer Lab
Our School has well equipped air conditioned computer labs for standards I – XII. The lab has about 55 computers or more for the use of students for computer practical. We have 43 to 45 students in each class and these labs meet the requirement of the students in their lab periods. We have well trained and qualified teachers to teach computer subjects. We also have lab assistants to care specially for the lab practical. The whole day lab is opened for the use of students.
Physics Lab
Experiments and practicals are the heart of sciences. Physics means ‘Nature’ that is study of practicals - things happening surrounding us. In our Physics lab we construct the same situation so that the students understand Physics instead of learning it. Our School Physics lab provides every instrument that is important to understand the topics which are taught in class. For example,

Our Physics lab has all the required and necessary instruments to cover all the topics of Physics that are taught from Class 6th to 12th.
Chemistry Lab
Laboratory work is considered essential in promoting students learning of science and scientific inquiry. Keeping in view the advancement in the field of Chemistry and the scope of
Chemistry in future, our School provides well equipped advanced laboratories for the benefit of students practical learning. Students do the following experiments.
1. Qualitative inorganic/organic analysis
2. Rate of Reaction
3. Volumetric analysis
4. Electrochemistry
5. PH experiments, etc
This helps the students to prepare accordingly before appearing for exams.
Along with theory, there is an equal need of practicals. School renders a high quality of practical education in Chemistry. Talking about our Chemistry lab, it is well equipped with required apparatus and instruments, to ensure smooth, flawless practicals.
The lab is very much spacious and well ventilated and can accommodate more than 50 students. The teaching staff conducts practicals in a systematized and efficient manner. We have been trying to improve more widely in all our initiatives and try developing laboratory culture throughout.
Biology Lab
Practical work is the most enjoyable part of science. It plays an important role in understanding the basic principles of science. Biology lab is equipped with specimens and instruments. The natures of practicals conducted are: (experimental work, spotting, mounting, study of museum specimens and permanent slides, etc
Linguistic Lab
Our School has a well furnished Linguistic Lab which enhances the Student’s vocabulary skills & communication skills as it helps them to develop personality. Students do enjoy their linguistic lectures as we use listening & reading techniques for teaching. Like – Pronunciation, Grammar, Vocabulary and Accent etc.
SMS System
Parents will recive school information such as Daily Homeworks,Notices,Attendance.
CCTV Cameras
School premise is under CCTV Camera surveillance and each classroom is equipped with a camera as well.
Electronic ID Cards
Each student is provided with an ID Card which can be used for the Auto Attendance.
